Mamativa is a non-profit association based in Lagos, born from the desire to offer more answers to those facing breast cancer, directly or indirectly. We combine empathy and health literacy to support those living this reality, creating a space for sharing and understanding where everyone can feel accompanied.
We were born in the Algarve to create more opportunities for the local and resident population facing breast cancer. We plan to develop projects and initiatives that respond to the different needs throughout the entire breast cancer journey.
Through initiatives such as the Algarve Breast Cancer Congress (CCMA) or Beyond Breast Cancer, we will clear up doubts and break down prejudices about the disease (and everything it involves).
Moments of conviviality and relaxation also reflect one of the pillars of our Association, expressing a greater sense of care and unity.
We want to create a network of people in the Algarve, including cancer patients and their families, volunteers and everyone who wishes to join us!
